Product Details
The Kingston is a clean, well proportioned pine bed frame finished in a warm grey painted finish that sits naturally in most modern bedrooms. It is not a complicated bed. It does what a good bed frame should do, it holds its shape, it looks right in the room, and it gets out of the way so you can focus on the rest of the space.
The headboard stands 97.5 cm tall with a vertical slatted design that gives it presence without bulk. It is tall enough to lean against comfortably when sitting up in bed and gives the whole frame a grounded, confident look from across the room. The footboard sits low at just 42.5 cm, which keeps the room feeling open and makes the bed look longer than it is. That contrast between the tall headboard and the low footboard is what gives the Kingston its character. It is a small design detail that makes a noticeable difference in how the room feels.
The grey painted finish is a versatile neutral that works with whites, creams, natural wood tones, and most wall colours. It is not a stark grey or a cold grey. It sits in the warmer, softer range that tends to age well with changing decor over time.
Underneath the mattress, solid pine slats run the full width of the frame. The slatted base promotes air circulation under the mattress, which helps it stay fresh and last longer. There is also a generous underbed clearance of 30 cm which is enough for underbed storage boxes or drawers if you need the extra space.
